Kyle Busch posted the fastest lap in qualifying for the Kalamazoo Klash Outlaw Late Model race at Kalamazoo Speedway.
The 2015 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion posted a 12.220 second lap around the .375-mile speedway commonly referred to as the ‘Fastest 3/8th-mile oval in the World.’ That lap bested the likes of Brian Bergakker, Mark Shook and Tyler Roahring.
Busch is driving a car prepared by the team of veteran racer and car builder Terry Senneker Jr.
Busch however drew a 14 for the pre-race invert meaning that Jeff Ganus and Steve Needles will start the race from the front row.

In CRA Super Series qualifying, two-time series champion and two-race winner this season Travis Braden scored the pole. Busch posted the sixth fastest time for that race.
A five car invert also changed the starting lineup for that showdown.
Both races can be viewed by purchasing a Speed51.com PPV for $19.99.
